In the Sneinton Market area, a short stroll from the centre of Nottingham, the venue many locals know as The Bunker is becoming RUFF Golf. RUFF is a Swedish indoor golf company, and in June 2026 it signed a Midlands franchise deal that brings this site and its sister in Heanor into its European network. The change is happening gradually, so do not be surprised to see both names for a while.
The set-up is five TrackMan iO simulator bays and two interactive darts lanes, which makes it a handy choice when your group is a mix of keen golfers and people who just fancy a game of arrows. Clubs can be borrowed, staff are on hand, and food and drink are part of the offer, with a full menu promised soon.
The real draw for anyone who likes a bit of competition is the European Indoor League. Starting on 1 November, it is free to enter at RUFF venues and played on TrackMan in your own time. Each month brings a two-round event, and players move up or down through divisions as the season goes on, so you are always measured against golfers of a similar standard. There is a prize pool too.
Coaching is available, and RUFF offers memberships for regular players. Pricing on the booking system is set by the size of your group, and RUFF's own site says golf starts from £9 an hour, so it can work out very reasonably if you share a bay.
Opening times are not published on the RUFF website, so check the booking page before you travel.
